Should these A/C controls illuminate?

Are these (highlighted with green) on the A/C controls supposed to illuminate when on?

Mine don't. I'm assuming it's just another thing broken on the car. Doesn't cause any major issue except I have to cycle the A/C to check if it's ON or OFF.

Yes. They do for me when I push them.

They only light up when its on Auto or on AC. So you can see them on or off. Its a white light thats hard to see during the day

It might simply be that. I rarely drive the car at night.

Try them out in your garage with the lights off to test it.

If it doesnt come on, it can also be an indication that the AC is not working. Check to see if you have had the plastic shroud fitted in the front boot, if that is the case

They light up but they’re barely noticeable in the day. Hard to tell.

The green led is very dark mines the same kits normal

Also had trouble seeing it illuminate on mine like others if bright out. You also get a confirmation (the AC icon) the AC is on on the center display screen when its on the HVAC screen.
