If I could get an NSX which costs 100K Pounds(around 0.9million RMB) in China, I definately will choose NSX. I had a test drive on NSX, it was good, A real super car, 570HP, quick response.

The huge price difference between V6 FE and I4 FE in Chinese market made me chose the later one. (30,000 British Pounds difference ) :cry:

When I was an elementary school student, I played an arcade game named INITIAL D3. I really loved RX8 in this game. It was my first dream car.

In terms of straight line acceleration, LOTUS never make it impressive. People love LOTUS because of the driving dynamic. Personally I tried EVORA GT410, I think it was even slower than a GT86 with turbo kits.

Most manufacturers claim a car has XX HP of the engin crankshaft output. However, SUPRA has 380HP on wheels and it could be easily tuned to 500HP.Not to mention the smart electronic system that could reduce the slipping. :giggle:

Definately no 2nd line for this car. Just look at how many production lines there are for most 2-door coupes.

Acturally no difference to the aftermarket glass-film. Also, it has been included in the price, why not choose it ?

Has anyone been informed the exact date of the test drive in September? My sales consaltant only told me the confirmatiopn of the test drive campaign, no specific date or location. :giggle:

The most important thing is the driving excitement with impressive looking. :geek: I had a chance to drive an F430 a few years ago, the 480HP was a little excessive for me. So, I suppose 400HP is appropriate and adequate . :giggle:

For me, it is a good car. I've been dreaming to own a mid-engine car with supercar style for years. At the beginning, I considered an used F430 (the similar price to Emira in China) which was from $100,000 to $120,000. However, on secpond thought, I gave up. Afterall, an F430 is 15 years old. :(

It depends on your criterion of 'a good car '. Let me give you an example, let's say Ferrari 360. It is an old and classic car, however, If you look at it by today's standards, it has many flaws. For people who love this car, it will be everlasting classic and good.

Pretty similar to the smart phone industry. ;)

I don't know much about the used car situation in the USA or anything about the new car tax. For me , if I loose less than 15% of the new car money (Tax included)， I would buy a fancy car before Emira arrives. For example, a new M3 costs $138000 (Tax included, 10% of purchase tax )in China, if...

Try to calculate how much you would loose if you buy an M3 and sell it in 2 years. If it is OK for you ,then you could buy it. It's about the trade-off. Here's the utimate question: Is the happiness of owning the M3 worth the moneny you would loose when you sell it to the used car market ？ :geek:

I am curious about the actural horsepower of 2.0 EMIRA. LOTUS claimed that FE will have 400HP. Is it 400HP on wheels? Also, why some manufacturers overstate the horsepower? For instance, MY GT86 only has 135HP on wheels, but TOYOTA declared it would have 200HP when it was released. Another...

Something about the VIN letters meaning is correct. However, I don't think LOTUS will build another factory to produce Emira. Normally, the VIN info will also be showed on the sticker inside the car. As the picuture below.But I didn't see this sticker on the showing car.

I don't care about the place or production, as long as all cars could have the same quality. It will be a good signal if the first 2.0 FE goes off the production line.

It seems a worldwide campaign. The test drive will be in September in China. No exact date and location. I guss LOTUS will organise the event in a circuit with exciting curves and also a long straight .

It depends on quantity of orders. Before the next gen full electric sports car, LOTUS will keep producing EMIRA.

In China, people would have a consensus to add some aftermarket glass film no matter it is a cheap car or a luxury car. I don't even know about the significance of the option 'privacy glass'. I think it is just a "watercooler moment” that to be added into the package of FE edition. So it...
