How would you rate this full-body PPF job?

Looks ok to me apart from the Lotus letters. My PPF installer removed the letters and stuck them back on afterwards. That was his normal way of doing things.

How old is your car? Would be interesting to know how close to the end of the initial warranty you can take up the 2 years one.

Old Yellow and Green Lotus Badges (Nose Badge)

If you're talking about the original type badges on the older cars then they won't fit as they are a different size.

Possible to Adjust Door Mirror Position

When I got my car both mirrors (the whole housing) were loose, i.e. they wobbled slightly with a few millimetres play. By "Resetting to Neutral" this fixed my wobble.

    Route Napoleon

Had a quick look and I've made note of it for a future drive for me. How bad is she on the twisties? Mine hates me just going round a roundabout anywhere near decent speed. I've come to learn to just drive smoothly to avoid the screams and swearing.

    Bodywork Protection

Ipswich PPF Centre did a good job on mine. I got full cover. Stone chips can happen anywhere on the front and roof. The rear side inlets get it as well. They're the most prone but really anywhere can get it.

Lotus introduces Emira V6 SE and Emira Turbo - showroom debut in September 2025.

Well lotus do take the manual gearbox apart and swap a couple of cogs so they just might change the auto box. When you do the factory tour (I've done 3 so far) the guide has an area where he demonstrates both gearboxes. Next time I do the tour (probably later this year so that these new cars...

Essex (UK) Breakfast Meeting - Sunday 29th June

No, I had my tailgate replaced, small bubbles from new in June but waited until the following January before doing it. I checked out your doors, they did do a good job.

I'm a possible, I'll know nearer the date. It's just before we go away to the Le Mans Classic so I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing. Also, I thought I'd seen that number plate before! Chaplane's had 3 of them lined up when I picked my Hethel Yellow up.

What did you do to your Emira today?

For the rear badges they removed them and stuck them back on after doing the PPF using a template. For the nose badge they left it in place and just went into the dip surrounding the badge. Unless the light catches it and you are specifically looking for it you wouldn't know it was done that...

You won't be able to use an iPod Touch by plugging it into a USB port. You might be able to pair it via Bluetooth but then you will have to control the play of music by the iPod. You can only use the two USB ports inside the centre console armrest to connect a suitable USB device. The USB port...
