Does anyone know if it is possible to adjust the door mirror glass position?

My passenger side window is great but my drivers side window does not move far out enough on the mirror controls. Half of the mirror is filled with the car at full right adjustment.

I had a look at the service manual and nothing is shown there - just how to the remove/replace the mirror. It looks like the glass just attaches to some fixed clips with no adjustment possible.

I'm not sure what the fix is but I did note on an early test drive that the drivers mirror was not able to be moved out enough. That was on a LHD car but still preproduction on manufacturer plates. When I got my 2025, the mirrors can go out plenty. Is your car an early build? They may have changed the mirrors at some point.

I had the same experience and issue. When I drove the early cars (USA test drives/demos) and looked at them, the mirrors would not go out far enough for my seating position which is all the way back. I started thinking about a way to modify the mirrors. When I got my car (March 24) the mirrors went out much further so that not much of the car is visible.
Wonder if there is some variance on how the mirrors are set up from the factory. Perhaps there is some adjusting that can be done to the cradle that the mirror piece fits into as well. Sitting in some other Emiras and testing them might give insight as well.

Thanks for the replies. The car is an early build so maybe that is the cause. Mine is a UK car so RHD.
There seems to be no adjustment on the mirror glass fitment. But I wonder if there is some adjustment on the pivot/gears/motor/whatever that puts the mirror in and out for the parking/locked position. I'll have to take a look at how all that works.

I have the same issue. Spoke to the dealer about it when the car was in for a service.
There is no fix for this as yet
Maybe if enough of us raise it, Lotus will come up with something

This was one of the issues raised with my car and the fact that every now and then the mirror wouldn’t fold out (it’s also a little loose). None of these three issues were fixed, despite the dealer advising it was done and they’re back on the list for when my car goes back in.

Are you still using Colchester ? I'd seriously think about choosing another dealer if you are

I am, but only because they’ve caused a new issue, so they have to fix it. Once it’s complete, I won’t be using them again. Unfortunately I don’t have anyone local other than Hatfield, but they didn’t fill me with any confidence when they wouldn’t work on my Evora as “they weren’t trained for that car”.

When I got my car both mirrors (the whole housing) were loose, i.e. they wobbled slightly with a few millimetres play.
By "Resetting to Neutral" this fixed my wobble.

Lotus must have done a change to the mirrors prior to the US FEs then. I would suggest running the part number for a 2024/2025 and seeing if its different than a 2023.

EDIT: Looks like there may be multiple versions. I looked on Bell and Covill and theres no illustrations for any of this but there are multiple part numbers for items with the same mirror assembly description. There are 5 part numbers have a description of "ASO RH DOOR MIRROR EC GLASS ASSY CONVEX" and there are others listed that seem region specific.

OK that's useful to know.

I tried the reset too just in case - that made no difference.

I had a closer look at how the mirror works. The door mirror as a whole rotates out when you unlock the car and literally drops into a notched position to hold it in a fixed place. You can lift and push the door mirror beyond that point but it is not held in that position so is not stable there. So there's no adjustment to be had on the door mirror as a whole. The mirror glass is held in with plastic clips and I can't see any adjustments that can be made there.

Looks like I will just have to live with it or see if I can get a later version. It's not too bad so I can live with it for now. Might take a look at a few later cars to see what they are like and if it is a different assembly.
