That juddering behavior sounds alot like worn wiper inserts. I think that'll be an economical way to troubleshoot if it's just the blades or something else. Mine are also used infrequently, but its very smooth.

This maybe valid for those that don't track or push the car, but 2 piece rotors can be a great upgrade depending on your use case. Similar sized 2 piece rotors by themselves won't increase your overall total braking power, but it will reduce rotational weight, reduce heat soak for track work...

I agree. Until we really understand what actually was changed, I'm choosing to read all of the language as marketing fluff. As a hypothetical, if they changed 1 or 2 coolant hoses that's shorter, etc, that would be 'technically' accurate, although not practically impactful.

Did you have a way to defeat the passenger side airbag sensor or you're just dealing with the SRS light?

Not difficult, just takes time and money. If you re-sleeved the block and bored to 97mm with aftermarket pistons, that'll get you close to 3.7L (3.68L) with stock rod length and stock stroke 83mm. I'm not intimate with the 2GR platform, so I can't say if one would run into HG sealing issues...

Yep and still locked down. According to them, only 2 maps are user adjustable....fuel and ignition....:mad:. Pay standalone pricing and configuration, just to be locked down by someone else. You'd be at their mercy for additional tuning.

I believe GRP already tried this approach and it doesn't work for US Spec cars. hal's car is a JP spec and maybe similar to EU spec for the SRS system. So unfortunately, for us US spec cars, still no passenger defeat yet :(.
