The relief cut is about 2½ inches long, you can definitely see it if you look for it but I don't find it obvious otherwise. How it will age with time I don't know, first time using PPF, but the lines of the car aren't simple so I can see why they have done it like that.

Having taken a close-up photo I can see that the infill isn't perfect (I definitely wouldn't have noticed otherwise), but in a way that helps show that it is indeed there!

There are similar relief cuts around the vents in the PPF I had installed by Topaz in the UK (who use their own templates as far as I'm aware), however they infilled the gaps with additional PPF rather than just leaving the paintwork bare in that area.

I don't find that the sound in the video fully matches with what you actually hear in the i4. It seems more muffled in the video (perhaps from an in-helmet mic?) and doesn't catch any of the noise from the turbo. I have no complaints about how the i4 sounds, it doesn't sound synthetic in reality.

Yours is definitely looking good under the lights at Topaz, there's also another DV car currently getting worked on. They've not had any Emiras at Leeds until now apparently and they're now up to four, all i4s!
