You don’t align your steering wheel through the steering wheel spline interface, you do so with an alignment — specifically the front toe. You also don’t need a dealership to do this, any performance car alignment should be competent enough to do this.

FYI I had to switch to a blue dry filter from GRP because my oem one was dirty and they’re back ordered.

Unfortunately that service bulletin from Lotus a few years back was basically a reminder to all service centers that any aftermarket air filter dry or oiled would not be covered under warranty. That’s what I remember from the language. I don’t think a dry filter would cause any harm though!
