When I placed my deposit originally, I had a signed agreement on my deposit that stated that they could not mark up the car. Not sure if they are doing so with others, but I suspect not.

I don't understand the inconsistency from dealer to dealer re: their first and second deposits. My original deposit was $2,500, and I was able to place my final order without having to provide any added deposit. Go figure?

This is good advice. I sent my config code to my dealer and when they called me back to confirm my order it was not accurate. Both the interior color was wrong as was the privacy glass. I had them go line by line with me and send me a confirmation.
