Yes their products are expensive. (If it’s too deep for you look elsewhere) I think this is everyone’s problem. So if and when there is a micro fracture problem with JUBU it gets exaggerated.

For example JB4 Posted over 100 whp…and not a single person is close. I knew when I saw it, it was marketing but guess what everyone lost their minds and bought it. Then when it came to seeing their results, they all justify not being upset bc of the cost….Want to judge something fair…judge at face value not of your pockets or money it cost you. Everyone is different and clearly we have many differences on here.

I did the JUBU 460 (which is crank hp) and guess what I got all of what I paid for and more.

Yes we have seen issues with “first” in US and now this 600 CS. But I guarantee you they fix the issue (which according to them they have and already shipped the engine back) and it won’t be repeated for those customers who choose to go with that package, typically. Anything can happen with upgrades!

I might be the first one going with the 530 for example (if no one else does it before me) so yes it’s concerning but I know I am backed by people who care and will make it right. Yes they don’t have the patience for rude people. They are not American and they don’t bend over backyards when people talk to them disrespectfully or try to poke or claim things that are false. If you been in customer service you understand it’s not always the vendor or company at fault, sometimes it’s the person they deal with. Aka a Karen…

I hope everyone has a great experience with whoever they choose to do business with. More than happy to share my experience and others do the same. These cars or upgrades aren’t a 1 size fits all. Pick yours and try to enjoy.

Have you had a chance to dyno the car since the 460 upgrade?

No one on here is saying "Don't buy Jubu when you can jb4". I'm glad it has worked out for you. I hope it works out well for others. But I would not want to be going in blind. So, I think being as clear as possible about experiences and results are the best way to clear the path for those who might follow.
(others have mentioned not coming forward to avoid legal challenges by Jubu. Believe that or not)

That said, you are also using selective data.

There you go. There's a matched result. 440-450 HP is the 100hp result you claim no one else has gotten.

I don't think it's meaningful to the discussion. Which is not about "who" is better. But rather "what is the experience and results" so that people can make their own value judgements.

In the end, some people will buy a thing because of the name attached. Jubu perhaps feels like a name with that recognition.

How is that a matched result showing 100hp gain unless you show the result with the same car on the same dyno before the mod?
Can you show the dyno of that car pre-mod?

My totally stock car showed 380rwhp on a dynojet dyno.
If I do the JB4 and it shows 480rwhp + then that’s a verified result (although of course the usual pedants will say it needs to be same day etc).

I’m not against any vendors. I plan to buy from JUBU, Aerie, and GRP in the next few weeks, and possibly JB4 once my warranty expires.

The observations made by hellasf1 above are spot on IMO.

He did the runs.

There's your before. 376 hp stock car. No mods what-so-ever.

Worth noting the 94 or 96hp number that came from Dyno has been "conveniently" rounded up to 100. And the baseline car for Burger was a car with both an intake filter swap and 3rd cat delete. But otherwise stock.

I think it's ridiculous to think if you had a car on a Dyno, and you can press one button on your phone to switch between different maps, that somehow it's burdensome to get a Dyno on the same day showing the difference.

Shops do not tend to change per literal pull on a Dyno.

Pulling a near 80hp difference on a car that still has 3rd cat and no intake mods to me says, yes. Somewhere in the 90hp range could be possible.

Worth noting, Burger's own product page says "60 - 100hp gains possible". Later in the details saying up to 100hp dependant on fuel used.

This seems in line with what we have seen from users.
If the community writ-large thinks 600 dollars for 60hp which could be more is a good value I'm not really sure why individuals here keep bickering and trying to go on the offensive about it.

I've been around tuning cars a lot. 600 dollars for that kind of gain is a bargain, and you are kidding yourself if you think people should not be happy with those results.

Yes I did. 403 whp and 329 wtq was right after install. The 460 kit has a bigger pulley so my boost when down over stock and the 440 kit.

Again JUBU limits power and tq and this is one why they do that. 460 crank hp and 369 tq crack is the figures they say with 12% drive loss it’s right on par. Note the day was 90 degrees and high humidity. I just did the dyno to make sure there wasn’t any issues. The street driving is all I cared and been loving the power and how it pulls hard all the way to 7200 in all gears. 1-4 that I’ve tested.

I will plan on dyno again when I do go with the 530

Where do you see this is stock?

I’m confused bc we are talking about JB4. Did VF buy one and do it?

Also on this it shows 385 whp and 334 wtq on a stock car….? That would mean that engine is producing roughly 431 hp and 374 tq at the crack with the 12% drivetrain loss. Thats high on stock 400 hp and 310 tq.

I’m not buying it but keep telling the story I’m all ears.

Also your last sentence you mad my point. It’s the price you pay for what you get is what everyone is ok. If JB4 was 5k then everyone would be running their mouth on the forum about JB4 not delivering but yet we are clapping.

I just saw this post in VF, my understanding it’s not stock it has the lid on it which added power.

So in that case yes but JB4 did not require lid to get full power claims. Again not bashing JB4 I think it’s amazing for what you pay for it.

It’s not for me bc I wanted to get rid of the stock hard limiter and raise RPM redline. So my options were very limited.

Yeah. I think there are lots of folks, even who have Jb4 who want a full flash solution that will allow for additional tuning by shop of choice, and will do things like increase revs and remove hard limit.

I'm happy to cheer on a solution in that space that doesn't require an ECU replacement, or bench flashing. Though I suspect some folks would go the bench route.
