Nope. no track use. I have done rallies that pushed the car to high speed runs, but its nothing that would be a big heat generator like hard track use. Thanks for the insight here. Curious if you track your car? And if so, if you have an opinion as to whether this would be as much of an issue on a non-tracked car, insofar as the heat buildup and fluid situation?
Here is the mechanic working on it. The thick pad over the top of the engine made it comfortable for him. We checked from the bottom, there is a part that looked like a solenoid that is blocking the area that evora owners used to reached in.How easy was the access? Did you have to remove the underbody panel?

What wheels are these..... Love the look!! very nice
Why is the wire so close to the exhaust?Noticed that my v1 milltek valve controller started to melt so I installed a lava heat shield from summit racing https://www.summitracing.com/parts/hsp-280002
It’s the perfect length and closes with Velcro so should hold up just fine.

I think that was the only place that I could zip tie without the wire danglingWhy is the wire so close to the exhaust?
I did mine, but looking at your pics it appears you mounted that wire between the diffuser and rear skid plate, so downward. I routed mine as high up and to the driver wheel well where I mounted my unit. Maybe I am just seeing it wrong.I think that was the only place that I could zip tie without the wire dangling
@kitkat I know you know.I did mine, but looking at your pics it appears you mounted that wire between the diffuser and rear skid plate, so downward. I routed mine as high up and to the driver wheel well where I mounted my unit. Maybe I am just seeing it wrong.
I have mine wrapped in heat wrap and mounted lower like the other guy not high up. That makes mine more visible through the grill however.@kitkat I know you know.
Thanks for the knowledge.I have mine wrapped in heat wrap and mounted lower like the other guy not high up. That makes mine more visible through the grill however.
