netsinah, Great minds think alike. It will be 15 years since I acquired my Z8. Now the Emira gets more seat time. Both are beautiful in their own way. One day I may tire of the Emira, never the Z8

This issue happened to my car, and I know of another. I had the trim piece replaced under warranty. It is a flimsy plastic clip that cracked & broke off.

Another option is M-chanics in Mineola LI, George the owner works on all my cars. They have already worked on Emira’s. Probably less expensive than the dealer. He does a lot of race prep & track support as well.

Yup, Just happened to me also. I was not driving, just sat in car to retrieve an item. I pushed it back in. I thought it was a one-off. Moving forward, I will be more cautious.

Pre-Covid price on Porsche 993 Turbo. Probably would have sold it to buy Emira & pocketed a nice chunk of change.

I just slide my finger under the cover & push button, it's a nothing thing. The cover is a good idea so you do not accidently push/hit while driving though
