Itās not slower in gear, but when each gearchange takes 0.5-1.0 seconds instead of less than 0.1 seconds, and there are 6 instead of 7 or 8 gears what do you think is going to happen?
In my perfect Emira world there would be a supercharged V6 version with the DCT gearbox.
That would be the best combination of all, IMO.

Think the torque difference is a bit more ==> ~60nm or 44 ft-lbs. 310 vs 354The i4 would still have 40nm more torque through the majority of the power band,
