Im opening a thread to relocate the booming discussion on gear from china’s hottest and most elusive emira race shop: Boomgear!

I, for one, would appreciate being allowed the option to purchase from BoomGear.

We all understand tariffs will be passed through. We understand this isn’t BoomGear’s (or Jubu’s or Komotec’s or Aerie’s) fault. We know it’s @GRP ’s fault.

If people are willing to pay what Jubu charges (I’m guilty here too) then surely the market can tolerate BoomGear’s price point.

I would love to know what suspension parts you sell, even if you refuse to sell them globally as a fashion choice etc

I heard you can buy boomgear suspension parts via aerie. The parts look very wheel machined but very expensive compared to other car brands, I’m assuming since it’s low volume. If you download the app “xianyu” and just search boomgear in the app, you can find some of the parts he sells.

on a unrelated note, I have a friend that imports tons from China, the Chinese factories are starting to not want to sell because according to my friend, things get shipped with a deposit due and while it’s already on the boat they are having more customers cancel the order because of tariffs and the factory is shit out of luck.

That's what I said a month ago. Fedex demands a huge deposit to pay in advance in case ppl ditch the orders and it has to end up paying for the tariffs. So now you understand why Chinese sellers dun wanna sell to the US. Most other countries are fine. I have helped @TFS getting a diffusor to Dubai no problem.

And will order more soon. I can vouch for @675430VME if you want to order parts. I will meet him in person and hopefully visit Boomgear too. I can maybe do something for the group here together with @675430VME and boomgear if interested via via Dubai shipment, I will work as a middle man for the supplier this way you can avoid tarrifs but obviously price will regleft a little increase due the service offered
