There's several holes in the steering wheel. Make sure you have the right hole in the steering wheel for the clip.Any tips on getting the airbag off? I can see through the hole and see the metal clip. I’ve put a tool in (I’ve tried both a screwdriver and an Allen key) and I’m pushing the clip towards the dash. However, it feels solid. It doesn’t move at all and the airbag won’t release. Am I missing something?
Ha ha! Yes, I do actually have my car back, but only because I demanded that I take it. It’s not really finished, but I’m getting an independent garage to fix the last bits. There's several holes in the steering wheel. Make sure you have the right hole in the steering wheel for the clip.
Here's some notes from when I did it ---> https://www.emiraforum.com/threads/emira-steering-wheel-button-group-buy.6065/post-172350
Edit: Does this mean you finally have your car back? Or are you replacing the buttons on the Volvo's steering wheel ?!?!

Thanks for the link, I’ve sorted it now. The video on one of the earlier posts said push the clip towards the dashboard, that’s what threw me. You actually need to push the clips perpendicular to the car I.e. in parallel to the dashboard, not towards it!
