August Software Updates (i4)

Went to the dealership for something and had two software updates done (was told they are part of the August update package). The codes are: QBS-131-25010 and QBS-131-25011.

Anyone know what these are for? Was hoping one of them is for the DCT (maybe wishful thinking for it to be the same recalibration update stated for the 2026 models), especially since my car has the low gear bucking problem. Drove home after the updates and transmission felt smoother, but could certainly be just placebo

25011 - interesting at whats to come

This new SW update willimplement the Car Configuration Logic changes to reduce the DTCs reported when cars with a nonconvenience seat pack are requested, (memory seats and auto angling mirrors not fitted).

NOTE: This CEM SW update will not affect current vehicle functionality.

Agreed. That and the disconnecting Android Auto are the two things I'm interested in.

From Galpin tech: "I dug around a little more and looks like we will get a notice once there are softwares available but no date or availability yet. There will also be fuel system control module (FSCM) update coming as well when the transmission software comes out "

Wait, I'm confused - are the 25010 and 25011 updates already out, or are they part of the Galpin tech release information? I just had mine in for 7 updates, I'll have to look at the paperwork for the particulars, but I really don't want to have to drive allll the way back to the service center and be with out my car again so soon...

Well 25010 and 25011 are the updates my car just received last week. Couldn't tell ya what the other updates the Galpin tech is talking about.
