Anyone with Valve motor faults after installing Milltek valve controller?

Hi guys, I spoke today to a dealer about installing a Milltek valve controller. He talked me out of it, saying that Lotus could void the warranty if there were any problems with the car. He also said that the diagnostics would show that something had been connected to the car.Does anyone have any experience with this?

My dealer put it in and didn't say it would void warranty, but get Version 2
My update is valve controller went bad. They changed it and code went away, but now the 02 sensor will be changed tomorrow because it was bad.
Hopefully picking it up tomorrow afternoon with no codes and a new custom steering wheel with paddle shifters installed.

Un-F-in Unbelievable! The Milltek valve controller worked after the dealer installed the new valve controller. They used an O2 sensor from another car that was working because my delivery never came today and the check engine light came on again. They said when you remove and reuse one it may not always work. So I have to take it back next week and get the new O2 sensor installed. If it happens again I'm going to remove Milltek's Version 2 and see if codes stop coming back. I never had an issues until I installed the Milltek vlave controller. I hope I'm wrong because this sucks...And launch control doesn't work either. I'm still going to track at Lime Rock Monday and hope it doesn't go into limp mode again. What are the concerns if I run with a the O2 sensor that is not working properly because I don't want to cause any further issues?

I think this 'stay away from Milltech version..." is a bit blown out of proportion?? I suppose I have version 1, the not so recently released one --- it stays in the 'open all the time' mode 100% of the time. Is the problem folks cycling the thing too much? I litterally operated my Milletch remote once, programmed it to my car buttons -- tested -- and that was that. I installed the "box" behind the left rear fender area -- no special wrap, just zip tied it in there. If Milltech has problems they should be sending out replacements free of charge -- I don't see the entire forum complaining they're having issues, so I dunno what's up....there must be hundreds of these things installed in Emrias.

Have you tracked your car? If not, then you haven't generated enough heat to cause any issues. Obviously version 2 was made because version 1 has issues when alot of heat is generated. I don't think the Milltek is causing the O2 code because it is after the O2 sensor. Will read what the fault code is tomorrow.
But until the dealer puts in the new O2 sensor next week I can't even blame the 3rd cat delete. Hopefully the check engine light won't come on again afterwards.
Just praying that I won't go into limp mode on the track again on Monday. Can anyone tell me why launch control is not working?
