So....I've spent a lot of time viewing any/all posts regarding the OE steering wheel but can not find this.
When driving straight & true, the top notch on the wheel is slightly to the right of 'straight up' position.
It's obvious because it does not line up with the dash notch immediately behind it.
The car seems to be aligned well and runs straight and true but the steering wheel is 5 or 6 degrees right of center.
Is there a DIY way to correct this?
It would seem that for those that change out their wheels, that this must be part of correct re-installation...yes?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your steering wheel has been off and put back on again probably when the road wheels were not straight.
Just have the dealer fix it - they will just need to take it off and put it back on again - this time with the wheels straight. 10 minutes work.
You could do it yourself put it takes some proper tools, a puller and a torque wrench - also having an assistant to hold the wheel whilst you torque it helps.

I had same issue upon delivery but wheel had left offset....tracked fine down road. Alignment chk confirmed toe/castor off. Car aligned, wheel perfect. Also, driver front tire confirmed 30 on road force balance. Both alignment and tire covered under warranty.

Appreciate the feedback.....makes sense I guess.
Obviously I was kinda hoping for something I could tackle....dealer is transport 180 away.
Thanks again.

You don’t align your steering wheel through the steering wheel spline interface, you do so with an alignment — specifically the front toe. You also don’t need a dealership to do this, any performance car alignment should be competent enough to do this.

Go to local shop.....this fix would only require front wheel alignment, 100 bucks or so. Good luck!

Although you stated the alignment is good - is that just your feeling that it is or have you had it checked? As everyone says, it could be the front toe that is out.
I think the toe can be adjusted without taking off the undertrays - but I'm not sure castor/camber can be - maybe it can? I mention this as I've had a local alignment place refuse to touch my car as they didn't want to remove the undertrays.

Pretty sure if you try it this way you will mess up the stability system. Best adjusting at the steering rack which is pretty straightforward. If you adjust each side the same amount in the same direction you won't change the alignment, only the angle the steering wheel is at when the front wheels are pointing straight ahead. ...s if your wheel is pointing to the right when driving straight your need to adjust your wheels to point more right. Try 1/8th of a turn anticlockwise on the front right and 1/8th of a turn clockwise front left.

Yep....just my feel.
Hands off the wheel and she runs true and straight, but as you and others have said, that's not good enough.
Thanks.

I too have this exact issue and appreciate community input.

Mine was way off at delivery but I flew and drove home so had no choice by to drive away. Had the local gang at BOE align the car and replace alcantara steering with GRP as well. Much better but it is just a little R of center compared to line on dash. A few thoughts:

Steering wheel can only go in one way, there is a notch. After replacing with GRP leather with yellow TDC I think I see the offset more. The line on dash appears to not be aligned with TDC line, but would love it if other's compare and report. Maybe some of us like OP and myself just see that offset and our brains doesn't let go (details details)
The car is straight and true right now (follows the crown on road)

However, I will recheck alignment and make sure.

This is a great video and explanation on this issue:
