From last weekend’s Lotus vs The Dragon event in the Great Smoky Mountains. Over 200 miles of twisty mountain roads over three days. Home base is the Fontana Village Resort right off of “The Hellbender” road. Over 50 Lotus’s with about 40 Elises and 10 or so Emiras. 17 states and Canada represented. Will be back next May!

A nice photo of my car has been posted on Facebook by Croft Circuit, taken during the track parade at the car show they had there just under a month ago. Heard lots of compliments about the colour during the day, love how it pops on a sunny day!

(the track parade might only have reached a max speed of 45mph, but I still made sure I was in track mode :ROFLMAO:)

@David
I posted these pictures on what did you do with your lotus today but I think they fit better in this part of the forum.
Really like the union jacks that you have on your car so I ordered a set.
Here’s some things I’ve tried to make the yellow pop on mine

Astonishing how dull/black DV appears in these pics compared to the one from david. I guess its the camera/phone setting?

I completely agree.
It’s really hard to get good photos of the dark verdant green.
Indirect sunlight it is a beautiful color but sometimes on cloudy days it is just so muted. It’s hard to tell what color the car is.
Probably my biggest gripe against the color is the difficulty in seeing all the detail because of the dark shade of the color.

Yeah my plan is to order a manual V6 SE in autumn and I am so torn on the colour. I dont want a very loud colour as the car is already very „showy“ and DV was my first choice. I absoluetly love it in pictures like the one from david, not so much in your latest pics (while I still think your car is awesome!)

Unfortunately I think in reality DV looks more often like in your pic. I pass my dealers lot at least one time per week and he has a DV sitting outside, so I have a pretty good idea…
