Hi all!

Just fitted a CTEK Comfort Connect Panel to my Emira i4 — thought I’d share in case anyone’s considering the same.
I didn’t want to remove the battery cover every time I needed to top up the battery (especially with these modern ECUs getting touchy with low voltage), so this little panel made total sense — it even shows the battery status at all times, which is super handy for keeping an eye on voltage without needing to connect the charger.

🔧 Install was super easy — just had to remove the access panel over the battery, cut out a rectangle to fit the CTEK panel (they even include a template card to make it idiot-proof), then connect positive and negative to the battery terminals, and that’s it. Clean, simple, and works perfectly.

The panel shows battery charge level at a glance, and works perfectly with the AGM battery that comes with the Emira. Whole thing looks OEM and doesn’t ruin the trunk aesthetic.

Highly recommend if your car sits for a few days or weeks at a time.

If anyone’s on the fence about doing this — do it. Total game changer for battery maintenance, and zero hassle. 👌

hi

do you have the part number for the cable between the panel and the battery?

thanks

Hi,

I don't have a specific part number for the cable, as it comes pre-attached to the panel in the kit — you only need to connect it directly to the battery.

Cheers!

hello thanks for the information re pics i was able to source
i think i got the right kit
can i just confirm that where you have placed the 2 connections (i note not directly on the battery terminals) that this will charge the battery and cause no issues? just seems a tidier job as i have seen others connect to the battery terminals

Hi NSXer,

No problem at all — that setup will work perfectly.
The positive connector is directly linked to the battery terminal, and the other connection is to ground/chassis, which is completely safe and standard. It’s just a cleaner and more discreet installation, but it charges the battery the same way as connecting directly to the terminals. :-)
