USA/Canada Delivery Thread

On 7/26, a shipment of 10 Emiras arrived in Baltimore. Curiously, these are all I4 cars. I am not sure if these are dealer demos or customer cars so if any of the I4 buyers can spot their VIN in this list, please let us know. Sadly, no V6 Auto cars yet. Link to the tracking sheet below:

I just checked this out. two numbers off but its enough to get me giddy like all you V6 folk earlier this year!

While I am genuinely happy for you, it kills me that I deposited two years prior to several of you and we have essentially the same delivery date. I guess I'm the end of the CARB delays, but geeze. It has been 974 days so far, and it should crack close to 1000 days before I get it. I wonder if that also has to do with the relative popularity of my dealership (Atlanta, GA) and their allocation numbers?

Same. I have an 11/21 deposit and still no idea when I will get my car. Happy for those getting them, but the order they are being delivered in is ridiculous.

Agreed, there is no rhyme or reason at this point.

I'm over 1100 but at this point I've kinda stopped caring and if I could have got my refund back I would have dropped. I'm sure I'll feel differently once it arrives but my luck some new stupid delay and it arrives in Sep, not available until Oct and then drive for a month before going into the garage

When I reached out to Lotus USA today trying to get a VIN for my own that’s been produced they said, “We have not received it since the vessel is not on water yet.” No idea how accurate that actually is.

Interesting. What I was told yesterday by Lotus USA is this:

Hello Casey,

Thank you for reaching out to Lotus Cars USA Customer Service regarding the status of your new Emira VIN ****13912.

Usually the VIN and the ETA will be shared with the dealership and they share it with the respective customer once the vessel for transport is on the water.

In your case, once loaded on the vessel and on water, updates on the ETA are shared with your selling dealership, who then can/ and will communicate the ( VIN and) expected vehicle delivery date with you.

Please let us know, if you have any further questions.

We might be emira brothers! I actually had to e-mail my sales @ Naples for him to answer me, no "Hey, your car is produced, pending a 60-90 day delivery!" My sales did give me a VIN after asking for it... not the best experience or someone who takes initiative, but I get it... Naples of Lotus is Naples of Ferrari, Lambo, Mclaren, etc. They're probably not making much margin on this deal (besides the 1K dealer fees) compared to the other cars, so they don't have any extra incentive to go the extra mile.

I've compiled all of the VINs I could find for the US and Canadian Emira shipments. What's missing is that I could only find 99 of the 150 VINs for the first shipment dated 12/1/2023. So this list is incomplete. This list will be updated as new shipments arrive.

@Sandalwood. It has been 1,069 days since my deposit on August 28, 2021. I’m happy for everyone who has received their car. I’m still waiting patiently.

No word on delivery, maybe August they say…

Also SA suspected a price increase for the base model due to inflation.

I received an email from my Lotus dealer today letting me know that my Emira ( automatic transmission ) is in production !!!!!! Estimated delivery date is September. I am overjoyed & hope this information is correct.
