Today, my windshield washer stopped working. Checked fluid, topped it off. Anyone else?

Is it making any sound? Do the wipers work? If nothing is happening at all, might be a fuse.

Wipers work, no fluid squirt.

I had this issue with mine (never worked) and I had my mechanic check it out and they said if they knocked it it would fire back up.
They were gonna order a new pump but oddly it just works now.

You could check the connection to make sure the connector is plugged in correctly. Check the hose lines; check to see if there are any air bubbles in the line between the fluid reservoir and the pump. Is your dealer close? If everything is connected and looks okay, it might be a bad pump which is covered under warranty.

I habe this example issue now after 33000km, worked fine before.
Nozzles are clean, doesn’t leak and reservoir Level doesn’t change, so I would guess its the pump, connection etc

I just had a similar problem last night. Washer fluid was out. No error message. So I filled it up with Rain-X brand (orange colored) washer fluid. It didn't immediately start working, so I went for a drive and tried many times to use the fluid. Nothing came out. So I stopped the car in the driveway when I got home and turned it off and turned accessory mode on. I could hear the pump trying, so that was promising. I got out of the car to a surprisingly large puddle running from under the left rear tire! Had to wait for the engine bay to cool, but the next morning: about 2/3rds of the fluid was gone...

I thought I might have a cracked washer fluid tank, but feeling around on it I think I have found the culprit - this hose appears it should connect to another hose or some port leading to the front (I pulled the hose vertical to get a picture). But I can't see another hose hanging anywhere near it....

Might anyone have a picture and location of what this hose connects into? I'm not sure if I'm looking for another clear hose, black hose, or a port in the car or what. It's so cramped in there that sticking your phone in and taking 10 pictures is the only way I got this one good enough to even show you this. I'm hoping I don't have to start disassembling things to get to things. Thanks!

Thank you! It's interesting how they just hang the line from another line with clips. And I think that's probably why it falls off. I found it, and it's black line. Got reconnected and since it also was not obviously near any clips, I just duct taped it to the top of the washer fluid reservoir. Washer fluid is working again, back to the weak low-aimed stream that it's always been.
Pro tip: this job is much easier with someone to hold a light and someone with small hands and arms to reach under the reservoir and reconnect them.

@Neil D. Do you mind if I ask where you found that diagram?

You got lucky :D
Mine was checked and the pump confirmed broken. Needless to say it's on backorder :ROFLMAO:
At least the car is running I guess
