US Lotus portal updated with 2026 models, Raceline is now available

$130k for an Emira is absurd.
I agree that $130k is a lot, but what else can you purchase NEW for anywhere near that money that is as beautiful and engaging?

I had an Emira on order prior to locating one that fit most of my criteria, and I thought long and hard about this exact question. The only other NEW cars that interested me were the Porsche 718 GTS 4.0, which is extremely limited availability due to the upcoming discontinuation, and the 911 Carrera T, which is nearly impossible to get allocation for. Both of these cost more (often significantly more) than an Emira, yet they feel much more generic to me. Their styling is quite conservative and dated, and all of their controls feel isolated. They do drive well, but severely lack any special feel of occasion that is always present in the Lotus.

Honestly, if I could not find a new Emira, I think I might have been hunting for a used one or a 2020+ Evora.

I just dont get the fascination with Porsche.
Design wise they strike me as quite dull, even boring. OK so some do drive nicely, their performance is good, but car ownership is about more than the physical and for me Porsche lacks that something else, that Lotus and especially the Emira has in spades.

Thought Toyota stopped shipping V6? How .Many are on the shelf??

Last shipment Q3 2025 and I think Lotus padded the order quite a bit so there should be enough for 2026 as they did say in the investor call a couple months ago and that V6 will probably not have a 2027 refresh like the i4.

I just inquired with my sales guy if there is a price sheet from Lotus yet on the 2026s. For 2025s the pricing list existed months before they put it on the configurator and I assume it must exist now if they are taking orders.

From Naples "base MSRP is now $112,900 for the V6 SE however it includes a lot more standard items and the options have come way down in pricing."

The UK tarrifs were signed weeks ago at 10 percent. They were 2.5 in the past.

The 15 percent you are referring to was the deal with the European Union.

So on a 100K car, the price will go up roughly 7.5K if all the costs are pushed onto the buyer.
They likely won't push

Good cars but far from perfect. I've owned two and while I enjoyed the experience, I think their pricing has reached absurd levels.
