My mirror certainly vibrates under certain conditions. Its not enough that its ever bothered me but it can be seen if you focus on it. I haven't experienced the other issues OP had though.

The mirror vibration is normal if you have the bass up. washers are not great. I'd call thata normal, but certianly fine enough for usage. Yours might need to be reaimed up, or use them at a slower speed. I actually prefer when they shoot low so it doesnt go all over the paint at low speeds.
I havent felt a gritty clutch.

I dont have any of those issues in my V6.. Lotus build quality is far from great so i think some will have some will not. Just like Mclarens, British couldnt get the build quality up to German level yet..
