Just returned from a week of blasting through the TAIL OF THE DRAGON and the nearby roads. Put about 2000 miles on the car, it performed flawlessly ( except for an occasional front left parking sensor going off for no reason). Car has PPF on front end and rear fenders in addition to mud guards on front wheels to protect from gravel being tossed by CUP 2s. The PPF paid for itself as it took numerous hits particularly on the rear fenders but saved the paint. What surprised me was the amount of stone damage to the side skirts, particularly along the aft 3rd of the piece near the ”scoop” for the rear wheel brake cooling. I presumed the mud guards had that area covered, but there were literally many hundreds of impacts in the black plastic. The TAIL was in great shape having been recently recovered and the other surrounding roads, while not as perfect were not gravel traps. I guess I should have had the skirts PPFed as well, anyone else noticed this issue- is it common with the Goodyears as well or just a Cup2 thing
