Reputable Local Mechanics in DELMARVA

Anyone know of any reputable Lotus mechanics in the area? I'm in northern MD and would love to avoid a 350-400 mile round trip drive to the dealership in the future for work that I'm not willing to take on.

How are you 350-400 miles from a dealer when there's one in Rockville?

I'm avoiding Philly and DC dealers based on reviews and word of mouth stories from a few folks in Lotus club, DC Chapter. I'm sure there are good experiences as well but I'm exploring other options. I like Lotus of North Jersey and bought my car there - it's just farther than I like. I only do small work on cars and know that I'll need help with repair efforts/modifications at some point.

I'm probably one of the ones who has complained about the Rockville dealer, but that's on the sales side because of their unwillingness to actually build the showroom.

I've had positive experiences with the service side, even though it's at the Mazda dealer. They have a good young tech who has his head in the right place.

There's a shop in Northern Virginia owned by the tech from the old Lotus dealer that used to be in Maryland. It's out in Leesburg I think.

Okay, appreciate the feedback. I'll keep the DC Lotus service in mind. Could use the name of the young service tech for relationship building purposes. A little concerned about the DC dealership's longevity if they're not willing to complete the showroom - implies that they're concerned as well.. Leesburg is approaching 250 miles and entering the "far" category.
