With all these blistered doors being replaced, just wondering if anyone has had to have one (or both) replaced after having spent serious money upgrading the door speakers, sound deadening etc?

Lotus will replace Ceramic and PPF on production of a receipt - how about after having spent many hundreds/even thousands upgrading the speakers and then needing the door to be replaced? Should be the same right?

Anyone had experience of this?

They need to replace your audio system upgrades too now?

:ROFLMAO:

Taking it a bit too far aren’t we?

Not sure how far is too far - we obviously didn’t choose to have blistered doors that need to be replaced…..
They seem to accept that if you’ve shelled out for PPF that will be covered, just wondering if any audio / sound deadening would be too.
I’m guessing probably not

When they replace your doors they don't replacing all the wiring harnesses and collision sensors and glass and stereo equipment, they move it over. Your car will still have all the same parts just with a new door panel.

They are stealing our precious aftermarket drivers to sell and finance their Chinese EV pipe dreams!

As a side note, I’ve been wondering if the emeya or eletre have any kef tweeters that would fit well in A pillar with similar voicing

Wouldn’t we just be able to buy the new tweeters that they added to the 2026?

I didn’t know such things existed.

They revised the kef set up for 26?

If so, i wonder what else can be retrofit

Yes I suppose it’s the sound deadening I was referring to, should have made that clear 👍🏻

The KEF audio is absolutely terrible. The factory audio in my 89 TransAm is better.

The imaging is terrible and the way the tone shifts as you increase volume is frustrating.

The factory audio that there are spots for tweeters in the door and that they are empty is mind boggling.
