Red starter button cover

Just curious. Did you wrap everything that wasn't going to be painted in painters tape? How did you not get overspray? I love this mod and want to do it, but I don't trust myself..

Does anyone know if there are any veeneer-like covers that snap onto the red lambo-cover? I wouldn't mind just making mine black and low key.

For reference the yellow paint code i used is LY1C which the dealer said was the brake caliper colour code… It’s an Audi colour.

I haven’t put a clear coat on top of it yet as I think like the satin finish but I may still clear coat it.

Not sure if I should have used Lotus LO7 yellow instead…

I ordered LY1C from an online site and it doesn't match the brakes at all. It's far less florescent. I don't know if it's the code or the vendor. Has anyone had a good match with LY1C?

Nice work. Can the flip piece just be removed? Is there a pin that can be pushed out and remove the spring?

It was painted in place. They taped off the whole middle console. And covered the dash as well with tarp.
