Lotus is teasing a mysterious new model that debuts on May 5. The brief video is just 13 seconds long and never actually gives us a good look at the vehicle. At the end, two rows of portions of letters are visible. The upper ones appear to spell Emira, but the other word isn't distinguishable.

There was a white Emira GT4 car circulating rapidly around the track yesterday. Looked amazing! There was also some filming for the launch tomorrow I believe.

Whats nice about it? The exhaust looks like stainless steel you would get at the hardware store. Looks like shit honestly. Treating a royal few to the photos, now they have these shite photos out and no official photos. Good job lotus.

I may seem salty and I am. I did order an FE Emira for Delivery in USA for November and am miffed at the lack of marketing. Then these spy shots come out and its just embarrassing.

I know everyone is not happy with comms. But there are lots of little things everywhere that signal Lotus is investing into its operations. New dealers, audio partnerships, motorsport, weird advertising, SUVs. Frankly I think this is all good. Each one by itself is kind of insignificant, but taken as a whole I like it. Whenever we get our cars I think we all want to strong brand behind us and good aftermarket options.
