My Specs:
Emira I4
Happy to join this illustrious community - picked up an Atlantis blue leftover 2024 1st edition I4 Emira today . My second Lotus, 30 years after ordering an Elise the day it was announced at the 1995 Frankfurt auto show (chassis number 37X was finally delivered in Spring '97). Had many cars in between, a lot of them much faster than the Elise, but none that were more fun. Traded a 2024 M3 CX. Much faster than the Emira, more practical, better equipped etc etc etc, but only fun at insane speeds. The Emira makes me grin even rolling around at 55mph.

Welcome! Get ready for all the attention. Like you, I came from the M3 F80 and Porsche 992 911 world. Both way faster and animalistic in nature. But neither will put a smile on your face every single time you drive than the Emira. And neither got more picture and rev requests than the Emira.

Welcome and congrats. It looks gorgeous. FWIW, this is by far the best car forum I have participated in; learned so much from the generous members.

Are planning on modifying anything or keeping it stock?

Congratulations! I love the color, and great parking spot choice.

Congrats! Looks like we have a similar spec. Love the wheels, I was looking for silver or diamond cut as well but black was the only option available in my area.

Let's say not all members of the Wolkenspiel household were totally thrilled with this purchase...so carbon bucket seats, new exhaust, lightweight battery, wheels etc will need to wait a bit

If it makes you feel any better, lightweight lithium batteries isn't in the cards for us i4 folks. The alternator charging logic currently doesn't enable us to reliably use it the same way the v6 cars can. There's a few threads on it, but at least it's one thing you won't have to convince your family about :)
