On my Evora 400 and 410 GT sports the navigation system displayed the speed limits, as you say with updated data and also changed colour if you exceeded the limit, it also changed to kph automatically when in Europe. I think the Emira system looks like it has gone back to the 1900s!!!!!!!!IF there was an option it’s just prefetched data. I don’t think there is. However bo camera for sign detection on FE
Agree Waze does a nice job and is surprisingly good about road hazards. Since the Emira has Apple Car Play shouldn’t the navigation features depend on the app you choose to use.Just use Waze
Waze allows you to press a button and alert other users of police speed traps, bad pot holes and other nasty road issues, and it’s alerts you for all fixed speeds cameras. I am not keen on the road display it uses, but the above extras will make it my go to navigation app through Apple CarPlayI am using Google maps through Android Auto and that displays speed limits. I have downloaded TomTom Go but haven't got round to trying it. To be quite honest, Google Maps suits what I need and is free so I will probably stick with that. I keep forgetting to try the TomTom app. The wireless Android Auto is really good. I have never used Waze and I don't know what features that has beyond Google Maps.

Pretty sure the car doesn't run Automotive. But yes, you get direction indicators with distances on the right side, however, no maps in drivers display supported when using AA or CarPlay.I always use Google maps with AA too. Are you able to display navigation directions on the drivers screen behind the steering wheel? I assumed that only works for the built in nav system, but was hopeful it'd work with AA since the car is using Android Automotive.
With a grain of salt. Streets probably pretty good. Apple Maps regularly shows wrong speed limits. Google Maps somehow isn't up to date on construction sites and one ways, at least in Hamburg. Got worse maybe like a year ago.At least the maps will be up to date - no information still seems to exist as to how to update the maps for the inbuilt navigation…..
To confirm that the only Apple Car play info that you can get on the central display behind the steering wheel is album artwork and track data. Tried all sorts and the only nav info on that screen is from the car Sat nav.I always use Google maps with AA too. No, it is just the in built nav that shows on the screen behind the wheel. I noticed today that the Google maps only dipslays speed limits when it is actually navigating a route. Ideally, I would like something that displays the speed limit permanently. My runabout 2015 Ford Fiesta has a small screen compared to more modern cars, but the best feature is it displays the speed limit for the road in the corner of the screen all the time.I always use Google maps with AA too. Again, Waze is the answer. Give it a try, it doesn’t have lots of recommendations for no reason.Ideally, I would like something that displays the speed limit permanently
Thanks, I will give it a try.Again, Waze is the answer. Give it a try, it doesn’t have lots of recommendations for no reason.
Almost, start a route on either CarPlay or AA. Next turns will be shown to the right of the mode display (eg „TOUR“)To confirm that the only Apple Car play info that you can get on the central display behind the steering wheel is album artwork and track data. Oh ! Will try that. Missed it but maybe wasn’t on a route !!! Thx for correcting me. Probably too focused on the central bit !Almost, start a route on either CarPlay or AA. Next turns will be shown to the right of the mode display (eg „TOUR“)
I tried that today @Kimmax with both Waze and Google Maps directions via Wireless Apple Car Play and played with every option on the steering wheel.Almost, start a route on either CarPlay or AA. Next turns will be shown to the right of the mode display (eg „TOUR“)

I couldn’t get any directions to come up to the right of the display. Did you have to change any settings anywhere ?
Maybe you have later software ?
