Lotus Group First Half 2025 Financial Results

First half results for 2025 here, worth a quick read: -


Headlines are: -

- Delivered over 2,800 vehicles and achieved total revenue of $218 million in the first half of 2025

- The operating loss in the first half 2025 narrowed approximately 40% year-on-year to $263 million

- Received up to approximately $500 million funding commitment from institutional investors and strategic partners

- Lotus Robotics entered into MOU with a strategic partner for strategic collaboration on intelligent driving, exploring
Robotaxi development in Saudi Arabia.

Huge drop in sales to US (as expected) and rest of the world. But compensated for by a huge increase in sales in China.

So, if I am reading that correctly they are on track for under 6k cars in 2025 :eek:Under Lotus's Vision 80 plan from just a couple of years back they were targeting 75k cars this year, with the vast majority of that coming from EV sales. No wonder they are in the :poop:
 
I’d buy a electre if they were $80K. I can’t not buy Caynne if this thing is $160K start price in US.
 
Lotus EV prices are screwed in the US with the 100% tariff issue. They could use the polestar strategy. Polestar is currently manufacturing their polestar 4 for the North American market at their SK facility to help mitigate tariffs. I think they will eventually move to manufacturing to their Volvo factory in the US.
