We would like to inquire how many people would be interested in a BENCH flash (mail in ECU to us, or mail spare ECU) for their V6 Emira?
Spare ECUs can be bought from your local dealership, we bought ours, cost is about $1k.

VF Tuner has already done *extensive* tuning and testing on the Evora 400 / Evora Gt, which the maps and tables are nearly identical.

Bench Flash Cost: $1199
Turn around time: 4-6 days

Choice of tune will need to be told to us before we flash the ECU.

We have ready to go tunes for the following:

Rev limit: 7200 or 7400 (user choice)
91 or 93 octane (user choice)
Stock vehicle
Exhaust (but stock header)
Aftermarket header + full exhaust

Tunes for smaller pulleys (already tested on the Evora GT)
With/without exhaust modifications
2.9 pulley
2.8 pulley
2.7 pulley
2.6 pulley (VF Tuner did the testing on this pulley for the Evora GT Community)
We have also solved the TORQUE limiting (throttle limit) on smaller pulleys as well.

Basically, VF Tuner has already extensively tested and dyno'd nearly every modification combination there is on the Evora GT, which the Emira v6 is practically identical to.
VF tuner has also track *abused* our GT at 7400 RPM to test durability.

(some values shown are raw dat)
Example tables:
rev limit sets (by time and Engine temp)

Features and gains
- no more "hitting the wall" rev limit. You can bounce off the limiter
Est gains:
stock vehicle : 50-60hp gain
Stock pulley + bolt ons 70-90+hp gain
2.8 pulley + bolt ons 100-130+ HP gain
2.7 pulley + bolt ons 120-150+ HP gain
2.6 pulley + bolt ons 160-200+ hp gain

Sending in the ECU is fairly common with other Lotus vendors. No concerns there. The price depends on the gains. What gains does the tune provide like for like car equipment? With the raised redline, is the tach on the dashboard changed as well? What is the fuel cutoff RPM?

I would be down so long as I can bring my car there, have you install stuff, flag the car, dyno it, tune it, and verify that everything is solid before handing it back.

Do you offer an option for us to have open access to the tables for the end user to make changes? Personally, I only want access to the ECU and write back to the tables, I do not want OTS maps.

This is not something that can be done in one day.

No we do not have this available. Flashing the ECU requires custom tools.

Definitely interested. Piggyback tunes make me nervous despite most users having solid results from the jb4. Would love a true bench flash with the increased redline and fuel optimization.

Agree with me73 though, some more specific details would be very welcome.

gains provided are going based on what we have seen on the Evora GT, which is *nearly identical* in all aspects.

We are finalizing the E85 + 2.6 pulley tune before posting the numbers but are expecting around 200+whp gain or more.

Totally fine with things taking over a week or more even, so long as it all works reliably. I say this as a JUBU 440-kit customer, in the hopes that you understand where I’m coming from.

I am interested to buy and send over a spare ecu provided that it has been done, run on at least one Emira car to see the results.

Definitely interested. Hopefully a way around paying export and import taxes.

Are the gains ranges you are quoting at crank or wheels?

I guess a new ECU would have to be initialized to the car by the dealer first, or can you handle that too?

@VF Tuner

Did you benchflash the spare ecu that you have purchased for the emira? If yes, im sure someone wants to install it and see what it does. If you cant find anyone.. send it over to me I will do it for the forum! Fedup with loose promises.. if you have one and you did it, send it over… ill pay you provided that the engine does not blow up!

C’mon guys this is a serious step forward!
I appreciate what VF tuner is trying to get together with the guys in China.
I’m sure most of you from England have a great sense of humor, and I live it,, but we all really need this extra power with a higher rev limiter. Let’s please be a little more supportive and understanding so we can get this affordable alternative. Thank you everyone and have a wonderful weekend!

Interested. Would prefer to send you a spare ECU so the car is usable in interim. Can I get that cloned easily to the spare to send you or can you input my VIN etc to the spare ECU without this being necessary?
I’m aware that people using the Syvecs ECUs have had a world of pain - I guess you are confident this won’t be so here?
Can you advise of the part no(s) for spare ECU and if it matters if car is auto/manual

Thanks

How confident is everyone with the transmission's ability to handle an additional 150-200hp?

Manual transmission no issues. Auto transmission.....unknown territory.

the spare ECU we have was programmed to our Emira which ended up getting lemoned.
then we removed the BGA chip on it to do deeper analysis, so it can't be put into anyones car.

Power figures are at the wheel.

I see prices on Emiras are dropping fast we may be getting another one.
