Lotus Emira Fluid Specifications

I find the biggest challenge with fluids to be matching whatever unobtainable coolant Lotus uses to something we can buy in the US. There are SO many different formulations out there that may or may not be compatible with what's sitting in the car that you have to be pretty careful. From what I can tell, Zerex G40 Si-OAT appears to be chemically the closest to the Total Glacelf SI-OAT that Lotus recommends.

I wonder why that spec sheet specifies the same coolant for I4 and V6 models. It makes sense to me that SI-OAT is specified for 4 cylinder models, but for the V6, I would think Toyota Pink is the proper coolant. I can't find a definitive answer either. I hope there is greater clarity when it comes time for me to change the coolant.

Life was so much easier when it was all green.

Transmission oil needs more than the manual requires.
