As an Ayrton-obsessed child i was brought up on the days of the Lotus in the JPS livery and the beauty has stuck with me ever since.

I'm down for a First edition Emira in June (currently...) and would love to eventually have a JPS Colour scheme applied to the car,i've been told a "Wrap" is the best way to do this.

However, where would one start for a specific JPS Colour scheme? Even the below Evija in "Zenith" would fit the bill, but i imagine those gold lines would require some specialist expertise.

I did hear of a chap who had a special Martini livery made for a GT4 Cayman, has anyone ever heard of the same for a JPS Colour Wrap provided for a Lotus?

Back when Lotus offered a Bespoke paint service you could specify things like this. Lotus also did various heritage editions. It's also all doable with vinyl etc. There are plenty of examples to work from and the various Evora ones might be a good start point.

It depends if you want to be completely faithful to the original (but which variant? :) ) or do something that pays tribute to the black and gold (like the Evija one) without following all of it. I'd suggest think about your design ideas and talk to a decent vinyl specialist about what can be achieved - almost anything is possible.

Thanks Tom,

This is true, there are a few variants, but it would have to be the 85 Portugal livery if I did the full hog!

However, you've hit the nail on the head, more sophisticated sleek lines like the Evija above would be more subtle, hopefully the link you shared elsewhere can help.with ideas.

Much appreciated
