Japan - Emira Ownership (エミーラ納車とその後)

Sounds like we both drive the car very similarly. Although mine will only ever see a track from the side lines.
Best my car can hope for is some spirited driving on UK country roads, which wont exactly be high speed
Just got the AD09s fitted and drove about 10km home. Feels fine for city driving, even quick 90 degree bends  New rubber is always better than 2 year old brittle tires, and I know I would be more comfortable in the rain with these. However, the braking on dry summer asphalt feels softer than the Cup2s and will need getting used to. As such, this may not be the best choice for track use since the Emira is a fairly heavy car.

Advan Neovas were my favourite tyres on my Elise - doing many track days I got through a lot of different brands to try out. Advan Neovas were grippy but at the same time really progressive giving you plenty of warning and room to play. But they are quite soft and do wear quickly especially on track - I could get through a set in 2 track days at Anglesey.

Whilst I do also really like my Sport Cup 2s I'd be really interested in how these stack up long term on your Emira - especially if you do use them on track.

Edit: You probably already know this but just in case you didn't realise, these AD09s are W rated - so only warrantied up to a top speed of 168mph.

I think that my air conditioning was working at first, but it probably broke during the heavy rain in June last year. It took about 15 minutes after starting the engine for it to start working. It took about six months to repair everything. Now it works properly. It worked last week at Miura and yesterday, so it seems to be completely fixed until the next breakdown.
Six months! We are currently still waiting for the air conditioner condenser pair to be shipped from the UK.

The mesh part of the lower rear bumper (including parking sensors and exhaust tips) is just glued into the gloss black trim. Once this bond is broken, you will need to find a way to reattach the whole thing, or get a new assembly and have it painted...
