Intake difference between FE and 2025 V6

This is a generally useless little bit of trivia. There doesn't seem to be much difference in the appearance of an FE V6 and a 2025 V6 aside from the badges, but we did find that Lotus added a grill to the intakes at the sides of the car.

The i4 was made after the first orders of v6 so makes sense

I was told, by a Hethel employee, that these were fitted to i4s because dry leaves could catch fire due to the high temperatures at the inlet. V6s don't need them because the inlet temperature is lower. I guess they might now fit them to V6s because it simplifies the inventory, but I was assured that there was no need to retrofit to V6s.

Well if its prone to sucking up leaves isnt that more reason to have it so they arent clogging your filter.
