Incoming Jim Clark Edition

Yes, only 17 made it to the US. Funny story, I wasn't in the market just yet for another Emira and always regretted selling my FE I4. My goal was to order a 2027 V6 when released. After meeting a Emira owner at a Cars and Coffee he informed me that 2026 might be the last year for the V6, that prompted me to see what was available. In my search I stumbled on a few Clark Edition videos, specifically PetrolPed's. After more research I became extremely impressed with the racing heritage of the Clark Edition and knew I wanted one. I believe I called every dealership that had one advertised, only to find out theirs was already sold weeks ago. Just when I was about to give up a dealer in California replied to my inquiry that his was available. I immediately called them up and purchased the car. As a previous owner of a Lotus Espirit back in the 90's and a First Edition Emira, I'm extremely proud to own this rare Clark Edition. I feel like a kid (that was me)waiting for Sears and Roebuck to deliver his mini bike, as I patiently wait for the shipping company to deliver my Emira. Cheers.

My Clark Edition has landed in North Carolina.
Still haven't seen in person as I'm out of town, but had shipped to my friends dealership.

Beautiful, best of luck with it! Interesting that they went with the black wheel caps instead of the yellow emblem. Other than that, I wouldn’t change a thing.

My guess would be the yellow center cap wouldn't look good that close to the red brake calibers.

I have a feeling that Lotus weren't that shy about clashing colours with the Jim Clark Edition.

I believe Lotus was replicating the color palette of the original Type 38 Race car, which was Indy green, Hethel yellow stripe, silver mirrors, red interior, blue gas cover and yellow tail pipes.
But I think they missed the mark on the red brake calibers. If you look at the original race car it had yellow wheels to match the yellow stripe. It would of been a perfect opportunity for them to use yellow brake calibers In my opinion.

Agree, not knocking the ops car, it is gorgeous, but agree with @Vintage , yellow calipers and cap would have been a closer representation, and maybe a 9 decal (tastefully) behind the front fender.

Yellow calipers instead of yellow exhaust tips from eBay would have been a 100% improvement.

Lotus went with the black center caps to commemorate Jim Clark's death, they did this on many cars after Mr. Clark's death.

My Clark Edition finally makes it home. The car exceeded my expectations in every way. Seeing it in the flesh was incredible. Rolling the gears on drive home was a complete joy. It feels great to get back behind the wheel of a Emira. Cheers!

After spending a week with the ClarkEdition, I was wrong about how Lotus should of went with yellow brake calibers. The red cock pit seat looks goes perfect with the red brake calibers. Lotus hit it out of the park.

I don’t mind the red calipers, but I think yellow would be absolutely fire here.

I love the quirkiness here. The asymmetrical interior, the exhaust tips.

IMO do NOT change anything. Lotus came up with this design and colour scheme and it looks great "as is". Congrats again and no doubt you'll have many "miles of smiles".

Clark Edition MSRP is $142,950. A bit pricey, but worth it to me. I like the heritage racing reference and exclusivity of 60 units produced worldwide and only 17 shipped to the US. Plus I'm a sucker for Sports cars with a racing stripe down the middle.

such a good looking car, is there anything about the look you would downplay like the rear exhaust tips ?
