I4 Vs V6

The 2 car is not equal, In Touring in the i4 is stiffer than the V6 sport, rear spring on the i4 touring is 135Nm/m vs 115 Nm/m of the V6 sport. I would advise against i4 sport unless you have perfect road in your city or you'll be very busy with the steering on the highway (as in my friend's i4 sport).
Would you say i4 Touring is like V6 Sport?

Yes. Since I drive both car over pretty much the same road in my area. The i4 is definitely a little more bouncy over the same imperfections on the read, not to the point of causing a distraction but much more like the V6 sport that I have drove.

What were your thoughts on touring v sport? Especially between V6 and i4.
On normal roads I thought there was little difference. I deliberately mixed in some rough country roads too. You can obviously feel more of the road with the sport suspension especially through the steering but it's not a harsh ride in any way. I'm used to driving an Elise so the sport suspension was what I wanted but the difference between sport and touring is not as pronounced as some reviews seemed to suggest; I suspect the choice of tyres might make more of a difference. I might have to change my mind if I took it on the track. The V6 was the touring and the i4 the sport on the test drive.

One other difference on the test drive was the i4 had Alcantara seats which I felt where miles better than the leather ones. The leather ones looked nice but I found myself sliding around in them on bends.

I ended up with a V6 manual Sport, Alcantara with the Sport Cup 2 tyres.

Edit: Wizz33 summed it up well in his earlier post. The sport feels `busier` than the touring.

Truly a personal taste thing, I for one have always loved the sound of a turbo whirling over a Supercharger

Perhaps this is a move to differentiate more between the two setups.

I still haven't driven a sport version but the roads I have driven in my touring spec haven't made me desire anymore stiffness in the ride.

I have an I4 Sport, and while it may be a bit more fidgety, it's no where as fidgety as my Alfa 4c which I always thought was trying to kill me on public roads.

Here's the scoop, I bought the I4 sport to be a sports car. I track all of my cars and drive them whenever I can. So I don't get concerned with "road comfort". I have an MB wagon for the family road car that covers that angle. This car, is for driving fun (even if at the expense of tolerating a bumpy road or two).

Remember folks - this is all very subjective. It's really worth you test driving the cars before making a decision - and also that's there's no bad decision here, all Emira models are great and you can tweak things fairly cheaply on the Emira if you decide it's not quite right for you.
