I’ve been reading the forum for the last few weeks since collecting my Emira, and thought it was time to say hello!

The car is an i4/2.0 turbo/AMG (what’s the official designation these days!) which I bought with just over 1000 miles on the clock as an ex-demo. Despite there being quite a few cars for sale I couldn’t find the spec I wanted, but when I saw the car (which itself wasn’t a spec I’d even thought about!) I knew it was “the one”.

It’s a First Edition, Cosmos Black over Ice Grey, silver wheels and black callipers; you could call it business spec (or monochrome and boring!) but for me it really works.

I absolutely love the car, however it’s not all been plain sailing and due to a combination of some poor dealer prep and a few other issues/suspected issues, I’m sure I’ll be tapping into the forum’s collective knowledge.

That’s probably enough for now, so over and out and thanks for reading!

Welcome to the group. Some lovely places to drive up there in the NE; Lake District and the North Pennines. Any pics?

I'm also in the (far) North East -Northumberland. Not many dealers up here since Newcastle closed. I'm between Glasgow and Bradford geographically, but avoid Bradford because of the reputation.

Thanks. I'll get some pics and post them in the Cosmos thread; I haven't actually got any decent ones yet!

I thought there used to be a dealer in Newcastle but wasn't sure if I was imagining it! It would be nice to have one locally!

I wasn't aware that Bradford had a poor reputation and would have taken the car there for servicing etc. so I appreciate the heads up. It may be worth the extra time to get to Glasgow in that case....
