The reinstall the ECU splash cover, test fit cover before adhering to ECU just in case you bent it during removal. Rebend it back straight if need be.
The splash cover is stuck on the ECU with double sided tape from the factory. Because I will be maybe removing ECU for upgraded/Stage 2 tune, I used velcro this time instead.
If you notice, I followed the pattern of double stick tape on the splash cover. I dont think the double stick tape was positioned in a random pattern, i belive it was interntional to block water off tue ECU through the splash cover window. I dont understand the rationale of cutting a window in the splash cover (if only to read the yellow label on the ECU) but then again, this is Lotus. Lol
