Does anybody knows how to adjust the rear bumper.

I have a bad fitment on the passenger right side. ( see the pictures below ) The driver side is perfect.

I removed the fender to have an acces to see how it was done behind but I do not understand what I need to do to release some pressure over there.

Let me know if someone have already done this.

This is the good side :

I have wondered if this is a problem on most Emiras. My bumper is not aligned the same on both sides. It’s flush with the rear quarter panel on the drivers side, but stands proud of the passenger side rear quarter panel. I noticed it the day I took delivery of my car. I looked at another brand new Emira- same thing.

Mine does the same thing; flush on the left side of the car, slightly sticking out on the right side. I was planning on looking into adjusting this when I put the CCB rotors in, and remove the wheel well liners to look at putting some sound dampening on them. I don't know if it's the lower part that needs pulling in, or the upper fender that needs pushing out, or maybe slightly adjusting both. They were designed to be flush, so there has to be a way to adjust this.

Same with mine. Passenger side is perfect but drivers side sticks out 5mm at the top, hardly noticeable but once I noticed it's bugging me.
I was going to get the dealer to fix it at the next service under warranty.

I had the same issue on the passenger side. Just had the car in last week for an oil change and they found a connector bolt was missing. They replaced and it fixed the alignment. While they were poking around they found the same bolt on the drivers side had worked loosed but it wasn't misaligned yet.

Yours was pushing toward outside like the others I guess or pushing toward the inside like mine creating a bump ?

Mine pushed out at the edge. I just looked more closely at your picture and I see what you are talking about with it being pulled inward. If there is a bolt there, perhaps you could add shims so it won't pull in under tightening.

That part of the bumper is just clipped in, no bolts.

If you can get something behind it, even your fingers, it might pop out into place.

Just wanted to add a report that mine has the same issue. I just let it slide but I noticed it in the garage Day 1 after driving it home from the dealer. For me it's the driver's side that sticks out a little but the passenger side is perfect.

After looking at that picture KJD posted (who apparently has me on ignore, which is fine), it doesn't look like there's an adjustment if the fender merely slides into tabs on the upper fender. I am able to push in the lower corner on mine, and it goes in flush with the upper for a few seconds before popping back out, so there IS room in there for adjustment. When I remove the wheel well liners to look at putting sound dampening material on the backs of them, I'll look at that corner. I'm guessing it might just need a shim of some kind.

Mine is exactly the same both sides

I noticed the same thing on both sides of my car (worse on driver side) after PPF (I delivered my car to PPF the day I signed the papers).
Dealer's service manager gave me shit saying it's the PPF installer's fault because they had to take the bumper off as it's the only way of doing PPF on bumper (lol, obviously untrue).
I pointed out just about every single Emira on the lot had one or both sides with the panels not aligned, but he just scoffed at it.

The service advisor was cool at least, said this is new to them and will take a look if it can be adjusted. They ended up being able to adjust it out where the panels align correctly now, but was told don't push too hard on the bumper when washing etc., as it might move it back in since it's not completely permanent. They wouldn't say if shims were used and just that they were able to adjust it to the best they could.

3rd picture is after the fix.

The sides of the bumpers fit with clips. If I remember correctly, there's a bolt in the wheel well that secures the bumper from popping out. Otherwise, it might just need to be pressed firmly to pop back into place. You can see how to remove/install the bumper starting at about 10:40 in the video below.

Popping the bumper out starts at 18:28.

I just had a good feel round on the wheel well round the back of the bumper and I could feel how it went together, there's no clips at the far outside edge of the bumper. Using one hand pulling down on the bumper to free it up from the quarter panel, I used the palm of my second hand to see if I could push the bumper back in. Surprisingly this worked and the bumper has moved back flush.

At around 18:30 on your video, you show the area and what needs to be done - just pushing in instead of pulling off.

I have a feeling that this fix may not last and the bumper may ping back out again, so I will keep my eye on it. It may need some kind of panel clip to hold the bumper in place.
