Hello... Again.

Hello Everyone;

After failing to buy an Emira three years ago due to delays, finally I was able to purchase a 2025 from the dealer lot. I got lucky that they had the color combination I wanted (Meridian Blue, Ice Gray interior), save for the wheels and calipers. I had sold my M3 CS few months back and had ordered an M2 CS. Received the allocation for it, and delivery was set for November. Then suddenly the strong driving enjoyment feelings I had test driving the Emira few years ago overtook my brain. As I read more and more of the postings here, I could not help myself and backed out of the M2 order, and purchased the Emira.

The car was delivered yesterday evening, and my first ~20 miles already put a huge grin on my face. I know I made the right decision. I am hoping to be a long-term participant on these forums.

I've had so many mcars and was thinking of the g87 for a daily....then I got distracted by the new amg cle 53. Your spec is sweet, i4 or v6?

It is a V6

I really like the M cars, besides their latest exterior/interior designs. They are really superb all-around cars. But then again, we all lost something with the move towards all things being electric. Finding that Emira is as analog as it will get nowadays, I could not resist the simplicity frankly, let alone the driving dynamics and design.

Similar story here.... I just traded in my G82 Comp XDrive after 3 yrs of ownership following E92, F82 (three M cars in the last 12 yrs). Highly capable machines w/ daily and track functionalities. However - like most modern cars - size, weight, electric steering, etc have diluted the fun factor. Can't wait to get my Emira later this week.

I know how hard it is to wait haha. And at the end, receiving the car is so very sweet, especially this one. I hope you will enjoy yours in good health.
