🤩🤤 🏅Gold FTW!

The brakes are already incredible, not sure if this is necessary
This maybe valid for those that don't track or push the car, but 2 piece rotors can be a great upgrade depending on your use case.

Similar sized 2 piece rotors by themselves won't increase your overall total braking power, but it will reduce rotational weight, reduce heat soak for track work, and improve service intervals (Giro's metalurgy is better than most OE offerings, but I can't speak to the Emira since I don't have enough data yet).

While I don't have the OE weights for the Emira discs, there are applications (Like the Jag F-Type) where OEM rotors weigh 39lbs a piece, while the girodisc 2 piece is 29 lbs. 10 lbs of rotational weight is substantial. I'm not hyperfocused on losing weight on this platform for my use case or analyzing the $/weight reduction point, but will happily welcome it.

Personally, I would be changing to Giro 2pc rotors to experiment if it'll reduced heat soak (I track the car) and provide longer track service intervals. Giro disc will offer replacement rings, they've done it for every application they offer.

I solved alot of thermal heat soak issues/frequent rotor changes when I switched to Giro 2 pieces on other platforms for track work, but I acknowledge that doesn't guarantee the same on our platform.

FYI, GRP is working with Girodisc as well for something similar.

I am using Tarox Corsa pads on my Emira with stock rotors and fluid, and in the canyons I get some noticeable brake fade in about 15 min of hard driving, which is probably akin to a low intensity track session. Pads smell very toasty too when going hard. I have received but not yet installed the Jubu front cooling ducts so interested to see how those help. Also with 3k miles my stock rotors have some mild scoring, more than I have seen on Girodiscs at that mileage. Will plan to do brake fluid and the ducts soon, and excited to get the Girodiscs on after I thrash the stock ones a bit.

I'm not swapping out my stock pads or rotors until I wear them out. That said when I replace them I would get these two piece instead of another OEM set. Saving weight is always nice and these seem well reviewed.

I've used these on multiple cars (Evora, 4C, Carrera T) and they are by far one of the best mods for anyone that uses their car for both light to moderate track and street driving. They save weight and the rotors themselves last materially longer than any of the OE they replaced.

GiroDisc uses a proprietary iron mix for the rotor surface that allows them to take a beating, but last relatively long. I put well over 30k miles on all of the cars mentioned above and all still had roughly more than 50% life use left (measured by the depth of the slots).

Same

Nice to hear that GRP is expanding its "Emira menu" by likely adding these InoKinetic rotors. Emira owners are spoiled to have such a dependable part/accessory source. Go Greg GO!
