Regardless of whether it continues or not, if you want a V6 anytime in 2025 you are best to order it now. Who knows how long it will take them to cycle back to it.

Agreed. Don’t order now and you run the risk of FAFO.Regardless of whether it continues or not, if you want a V6 anytime in 2025 you are best to order it now. Who knows how long it will take them to cycle back to it.
@Nova has been keeping track. the table in his bio or chat historyCan someone speculate on how many V6 manuals have been. shipped to US?
Toyota board room>>>>>Yeah sure, let's keep an engine factory line going just for all of those Lotus V6 sales....LOLThis!
Noone knows if Toyota keeps on building the V6 for Lotus. They might, they might not. I believe IF they stop making the engine (for Lotus), its out of emission regulations that are getting too strict and not that they dont use it in the camry anymore.
We‘ll see. Either way I do believe it will come to an end with the V6.

I saw my dealer yesterday and he was given allocation mapping for Canada for 2025 and into 2026. And I was surprised when he said there are some allocations for V6's for 2026. Not many. Not sure how that can be if Toyota is not making the engine and there is limited supply. Only time will tell. But anyone wanting a V6 manual better get their allocation ASAP as until yesterday I heard the same info that if you had not allocation and locked in your spec by Feb 14th your chances of getting a V6 were slim.FWIW. I just got this from my dealer. If you want a V6 Base, You need to do it now as order deadline for dealers is Feb 15
"I was just told by LOTUS that they are limiting production of the V6. We are assuming engines are dwindling. Because of this, THIS IS THE LAST MONTH TO ORDER A 2025 V6 EMIRA. I have until Feb 15 to place my orders.
This will come as a surprise to most of you, who were prepping to place an order later this year. Welcome to Lotus.
More iterations of the Emira might be in the future, including hybrid, for now we will only have the Base i4 AMG production to look forward to next year."

I really would like to know where you have been getting all this false information. Are you making it up?Yes, There MAY be further V6 base allocation for NA if there are any leftover after the rest of the world put in their V6 base order later this year. How many (if any) is the question as the last shipment of 2GR-FE from Toyota is expected by Q3 2025.

Watch the video. I even time stamped it to start in the right place for you.Lotus even said that the V6 will be no more by 2027 in their own investor conference last year but since the world economy have gone further into the drain since then and sales have slowed down dramatically, there might be stock to last through 2027 and a bit more.
just did. I sent the original message before the Lotus investor call a year ago (which is still available online if you search) but news was already spreading down the grapevine. Given how all automaker is suffering, they may have convinced Toyota to extend the production run as a low volume line is still better than an idle line.Watch the video. I even time stamped it to start in the right place for you.

I don't have any grudge about the i4. I'm trying to go by data and was not able to find any part numbers substantiating your claims.I see that you're still holding the grudge that I have proven you wrong on so many occasions (like the i4 having different shocks in touring than the V6 giving it a firmer ride.). I had a contact back then that have worked with Lotus for over 30 years whom have unfortunately passed away since. Everything he passed on to me have been accurate at the time. Like I was pulled aside when I was about to leave and was told that the US i4 will be400hp instead of 360 months before it made the news while we were at a local Lotus meets back in June 24. Some people still won't believe it when I confirmed the news when some the dealer are still insisting that the news is not thru. Fortunately I had an Witness (we rode up in my V6 since his was being worked on) that I trust and told him what I was told but we can't say anything until news surface elsewhere..
I miss Tom (may he rest in peace) not because I don't get behind the scene news but he was a great guy in general.
