At 1260kg dry weight. What’s interesting they have a bigger supercharger 1900 vs 1750 on the standard Emira and higher rpm yet saying 400hp with their famous * …. Lotus launched a car which wasn’t even ready to be launched till July 2022. And now they are racing every aspect to have an actual car ready to deliver in 2022.

The first briefing for interested teams had 14 attending. Availability for 2022 season is going to be constrained, so will be interested to see who signs up.

The * on power and weight stats is because of “balance of performance”, which is basically a handicapping system to try to equalise the performance of competing cars and hence make it more about driver capability.

It looks really plain at the back without LOTUS badges. The bonnet vinyl and lower bumper carbon fibre lip adds a bit of character though.

Is that an additional air intake in the 3/4 windows similar to GT4 RS?
