Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, but didn't see this in my search of current threads. Ever since I saw this announcement of the Clark edition a few days ago https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/emira/clark-edition I can't stop looking at it. At first, sort of like a car wreck, I can't look away. The first feature that struck me obviously was the actual "proper" green paint (apologies to my Verdant Green bretheren!) and yellow striping. But then, taking in the crazy justaposition of all the different colors and textures. Two different color seats, with red for the driver's seat in homage to Clark. Wood shift knob. Blue gas flap. YELLOW exhaust tips! Wild! Maybe too wild? But then a closer look: the red seat is leather and alcantara, NOT an option on any other model. The steering wheel done in RED ALCANTARA, and black leather, also not available on any other. The Clark badging with the Clark family tartan plaid on the badge. The numbered carbon fiber door sills. Just everywhere you look, easter eggs everywhere. This is NOT just special edition badges and striping applied to the standard paint cars. This does appear quite unique and special. The more I stare at the photos, the more I want it. Alas, I know I can't have, as it's probably just UK and Europe. And then there's the cost (around $150k US reportedly).
So I'm curious, am I nuts or does anyone else feel the same about this one?
