Evening all

I’ve just jumped into the car and my drive selector has come loose, like really loose! I’ve attached a video.

The drive selector no longer works but I can just about get it to show on the screen and the select via that.

Has anyone had this issue? Easy fix? Would you expect it to be a warranty fix?

Thanks

you can pop off the trim panel and re install it. its slots into place. i see one of the buttons is exposed too. forward button and rear button get actuated by the lever thing. They must both sit below the lever.

Great, thanks.

Easy to sort or best to leave it to the experts?!

easy. remove the trinket tray rubber and lift the front tab. make sure you use gloves the plastic can be sharp. take your time and move down each side of the console.

Look up the DIY for the floating console delete and just follow the first few steps to remove the top cover.

Mine came from factory like this so I just fixed it myself.

Thanks Kitkat.

I’ve just read your instructions ok another thread 👍🏽

The car is hopefully going into the dealer soon as I appear to have a very small amount of water coming into the cabin via the drivers footwell after heavy rain or washing. It’s very slight and only a couple of drips come down when you are manoeuvring in a certain way i.e. turning, but the cabin should be watertight!

If that’s happening soon, I’ll get them to sort this at the same time, if not I’ll have a crack myself.

Thanks
