Do your Cup 2's have the Rim Protector Bead?

Interesting observation. My Cup 2's have the Rim Protector Bead on the rear tires, however, the fronts do not.

What does everyone else with Cup 2's have?

I have beads on the rear and not the front on my Cup 2s. This was a conscious decision Lotus made with Michelin for the LTS spec Cup2s.

pic #1: Rear tire.....Gap between wheel edge and tire (rim protector bead)
pic#2: Front tire.....Tire is flush with the edge of the wheel (no rim protector)

Interesting, same here.

This was a conscious decision Lotus made with Michelin for the LTS spec Cup2s.

I'm guess the bead gives a bit of "roll" that Lotus did not want to affect the steering.
