So today was the first day that I have driven my car in 3 months, I know sacrilege but, been super busy with a huge home remodel we are living in and just haven't really had the desire as getting a home complete is for me priority. I was starting it and let it idle in the garage and giving it revs till running temp about every 2 weeks with no issues, I do not have a battery maintainer installed, and never had an issue. Well today was garage clean out all the construction dust, dirt, and debris day so I air dusted the car and figured I would take it for a drive since I needed to move it out of the garage anyways. Hopped in, fired it up, and wouldn't you know it, SOS and check engine light came on. I figured I would go for a long drive and see what happened, well just like my low tire pressure light that finally went away by itself, both SOS and check engine cleared too. Moral of the story, drive your car and it will fix itself.
