Apple Car Play Issue

Hi, first time poster here.
I've been having some issues with CarPlay and wonder if anyone has a fix. Pretty much every day when using it I'll select a song and it won't play. It'll just stay on pause, almost as if it's loading, and I'll have to click on "now playing" and manually press the play button about 3 times until it decides to work. It shouldn't happen as there is nothing to buffer as all my music is downloaded to my phone. I was also wondering if there is a way to activate an infinite scroll as having to swipe 50,000 times to get to the artist I want because it'll only show 5 on screen at a time is extremely annoying. Thanks in advance.

I had that too. For me it was because there was stain on the touch sensitive buttons on steering wheel. I wet a micro fibre cloth with some water and wipe the buttons. Afterwards, no more stop play for music.

When in Car Play sometimes it freezes the entire entertainment system. Shows music playing, no sound. I need to pull over, turn off the car get out, lock the car and wait a min. Get back in all good. My car (I4) picked up 12/24 hopefully there are updates, going in September for service.
